JIMMY King recently decided to stop trying to fix his relationship with his nephew Tom.
But tonight in Emmerdale, he gets a reminder of important family is to him when his daughter Angel is left unconscious after a crash.

Torn apart again by an explosive row and despite Belle Dingle’s best efforts, Tom and Jimmy King (Nick Miles) seem to have reached a point of no return.
Jimmy and Tom have been trying to repair their broken bond when the lad came back from a decade-long absence.
But the mere mention of Tom’s father Carl and his dastardly deeds have left him on edge as he realises how villainous the late villager really was.
With his brother branded a murderer and a rapist, Jimmy was unable to cope with Tom disrespecting his memory and both men went head to head in The Woolpack.
Tonight on ITV, Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) tells her husband that cutting Tom out of his life is the right thing for him to do as his anguish over his nephew is affecting the rest of his family.
Nicola reminds her husband that she needs him to focus on them and that thinking about mending his relationship with Tom only distracts him from his priorities.
But Jimmy clearly doesn’t take her words into account – Nicola hits the roof when her thirteen-year-old Angel (Rebecca Blakes) appears outside Victoria Cottage after her father’s failure to take her to the dentist.

Stressed to high heaven, Nicola takes it upon herself to take her daughter to her appointment and orders her into the car.
Nicola continues ranting while behind the wheel but there’s a horrifying impact when she and Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) crash at an unsighted junction on the village outskirts.
The pair of women are in shock after the crash but this initial reaction makes way for horror to take over as Nicola reels at the sight of her daughter lying unconscious in the back of her crushed vehicle.
Will Angel make it out of the wreckage unharmed?
